They did it!
The Israel U20 National Hockey Team confirmed their status as favorites in the tournament by securing four victories in four matches, becoming the champions of the third division of the World Junior Championship one tour before the tournament's end!
In their journey, guided by coach Evgeny Kozhevnikov, the team defeated New Zealand with a score of 8:6, Bulgaria 7:3, Kyrgyzstan 16:1, and Turkey 4:1. In their final match, already in the role of champions, Israel will face Mexico tomorrow.
Next World Junior Championship, the team will compete in the second division, Group B.
